I have been using the re-launched magazine Shindig in order to inspire me for my music magazine. The magazine was re-launched in 2007. It contains psychedelic, garage, beat, powerpop, soul and folk news and music. The main issue I have been taking inspiration from is September 2009 issue, which looks like this -

My front cover is pretty similar to this, in my opinion. The same idea behind the big picture and the masthead being the main focus. My colour scheme is bright, like this one, green and pink being the main focus.
